Originally from Alexandria, VA, Susie came on vacation in 1982 and never left! She received her AA Degree from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, then went on to further her education by obtaining a BS in Communications and Business from James Madison University in 1980. She worked for an Attorney doing paralegal work and real estate closings. After obtaining her real estate license in 1984, she worked in site sales for Ships Watch in Duck. Changing over to general real estate in 1990, she concentrates her efforts in Corolla and the Northern Outer Banks. Susie is a Graduate of the REALTORS Institute (GRI) and an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). She is a member of the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS where she served her profession as Director and Chairman of many committees. She enjoys the beach, boating and fishing; She is member of the Queen Mackerals Fishing Team, fishing in many tournaments on the Outer Banks, and was recently invited to join the International Womens Fishing Association (IWFA), a group of women that fish all over the world.
